This Sunday we celebrate Transfiguration Sunday. Instead of focusing on Jesus' transformation, we will focus on our transformation/transfiguration as children of God. See you in the Sanctuary in body or in spirit as you join us using ZOOM.

LENT AND ASH WEDNESDAY
Our journey through Lent will use the theme of Renewed in Mercy
The season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday
(Feb. 18). A service that includes singing, praying, and seeking God, will be held in the Sanctuary and online at 7:00 PM.
The congregation is invited to join us for in-person bible study-
Wednesdays @10:00 AM- also offered online using ZOOM.
Thursdays at 6:00 PM.
Sundays @ 11:30 AM.

An additional fully online Lunch Time Bible Study will be offered Wednesdays at noon using ZOOM beginning February, 25th. Sign up for this by emailing pastor.yolanda@fridleyumc.org.
We will be using The Last Supper: Conversations that Led to the Cross by Will Willimon. The cost of the book is $17.99 (paperback) on Amazon and Cokesbury, as a Kindle book on Amazon for $9.99, and eBook on Cokesbury for $11.99. (We will have 15 copies at the church for purchase.)
WEDNESDAY SOUP AND FELLOWSHIP
During Lent we will follow Bible Shaping with a soup meal prepared by Pastor Yolanda. There is no cost, please let Pastor Yolanda know if you will be attending so that there is enough soup, that would be helpful. Contact: Pastor Yolanda.
